At the beginning of the 2016 Fall Semester, the brothers of Alpha Tau descended upon the local Lancaster pet shelter, Pet Pantry. Since this event the colony has planned at least one Community Service event a month.

Giving back to the community is a core tenant of being a Zeeb. In our credo Social Responsibility is recognized as a way for a man to grow himself. After each of our carefully considered and planned out service events, our brothers leave feeling like they have gained something after giving their time to others.
​
Other Community Service projects have included multiple volunteer outings at the North Museum as well as helping them during their time at the Extraordinary Give.
