WHY SHOULD YOU RUSH ZBT?
Whether you're in your first year at F&M or your last, one thing you will notice is the sense of belonging present in fraternity men. ZBT Fraternity brothers are there for each other to celebrate one another's sucesses and to support one another through their lows.

Founded as the world's first Jewish Fraterntiy, Zeta Beta Tau has grown into a brotherhood for all creeds. Across the country, chapters of ZBT are well known for their overarching excellence. The brothers of Alpha Tau hope to continue this legacy by creating a diverse, expansive, and active fraternity.

ZBT CREED
The Alpha Tau Chapter had it's beginnings as an Eating Club at Franklin & Marshall called the "Towers Club." In 1931, the members of the Towers Club decided to become a chapter of Zeta Beta Tau and thus the Alpha Tau Chapter was established.
One of the most important aspects of Fraternity is social. Last year, the brothers of ZBT invited the sisters of AXiD to play a friendly game of Bubble Soccer at the Lanco Fieldhouse.
We, the members of Zeta Beta Tau fraternity, believe that the development of the individual as a responsible, mature member of society is the primary goal of the university today.
We believe that fraternity offers to the university community a unique, desirable and successful means of achieving this goal.
In fulfilling the purposes of fraternity, we dedicate ourselves to the principles of: Intellectual Awareness, Social Responsibility, Integrity, and Brotherly Love.
INTELLECTUAL AWARENESS: Fraternity creates an atmosphere conducive to the expansion of the individual's intellectual horizons, the interchange of ideas within the academic community and the pursuit of scholastic excellence.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Fraternity requires the individual to commit himself and accept his responsibility to participate.
INTEGRITY: Fraternity generates a standard of personal integrity – a framework for the individual to maintain honesty, exhibit loyalty and retain a sense of self-discipline.
BROTHERLY LOVE: Fraternity inspires and expresses the interrelation of the individual with his fellows, his pride in the institution and respect for the wisdom of its tradition.
As a brother of ZBT you will have countless opportunities to enact meaningful change in communities from local to international with multiple philanthropic and fundraising events.
